As time goes on and we get older, it becomes very clear the difference between the friends that are just around for a good time and who is there to genuinely help rise you up, make you better and empower you to be the best version of yourself.
Once you figure out who is actually in your life to stay, it becomes so easy to be a good friend and get the same in return. The drama goes away and you find friends that actually make you a better person every single day.
Surround yourself with friends who push you to step out of your comfort zone.
Surround yourself with friends that only genuinely want the best for you.
Surround yourself with friends who discuss things with you instead of talking behind your back.
Find the friends that motivate you.
Find the friends that you can trust to tell anything and everything to.
Find the friends that you can call when you are going through a difficult time and you know that they will be there.
Keep the friends that won’t ditch you for a new significant other.
Keep the friends that you know are genuine, real and have all of your best intentions in mind.
Losing friends sucks. The older we get, the more people we seem to have to start cutting out of our life. Drifting apart from people we once loved dearly starts to happen more frequently.
It’s okay, this is all part of the process of finding your forever circle of people.
